Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Furnace Limit Switch Safety. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. This switch is a 155 degree 1 Pole limit switch (L150-20). If you look at your limit switch, you should find the temperature rating listed on the switch itself (It will be the first three digits after the "L" number). When replacing an older limit switch in an electric furnace it is recommended to replace all of them at the same time (there should be between 2 and 4 limits). Sometimes replacing one limit will reveal that another limit (or two). are also weak and bad. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.

A limit switch is a safety device designed to shut down a piece of equipment. Limits have a set point, which is in some cases, adjustable. The set point prevents the temperature or pressure from exceeding the rating of the switch.
