Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM Goodman/Janitrol Air Conditioning Fan Motor. It's 1/6 HP 208-230 volts 1075 RPM. It is an OEM US Motors replacement motor for the old GE/Genteq motor # 5KCP29ECA033S. The specs, rotation, color and number of wires are all the same as the original. The main photo shows the original motor while the second photo shows the new replacement motor. It takes a 5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
