Description
This is a BRAND NEW Emerson 3-Speed Blower Motor. It's 1/20 HP 265 volts 1060 RPM. The Emerson part number is K55HXCPS-6591 (also has part # 513917 ) . The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter. It takes a 5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. The shaft is 1/2" in diameter and extends 2" out of the motor. It also has four mounting "Ears" welded onto the motor. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
