Description
This is a BRAND NEW Rheem/Weather King/Corsaire/RUUD Air Conditioning Fan Motor. It's 1/6 HP 208-230 volts 1100 RPM. The Rheem/Weather King/Corsaire/RUUD part number on the box is 51-102500-02. This box will contain either a 51-102008-01 or 51-101774-01 per Rheem. These are two completely identical motors that Rheem has the option of putting in the box. The Emerson # is K48HXGCE-4204. The shaft extends 1.5" out of the motor and the motor has three wires. It takes a 5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
