Description
This is a BRAND NEW Cork Screw (Spiral) Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor). Simply unplug yours and plug this one in! There are three wiring adapters that come with this Ignitor making it Universal to virtually any Furnace out there with a Spiral Ignitor (except Intertherm models: see my store for the Intertherm Spiral Ignitor).
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
