Description
This is a BRAND NEW Upgraded White Rodgers 24 volt furnace Gas Valve. The valve has an 1/2" inlet and a 1/2" outlet with two wiring terminals. It is designed to replace the old part numbers listed below. The LP Gas Conversion Kit for this part is in our store, you can search for it using part number LPT-03.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
