Description
This is a BRAND NEW Replacemnet for Goodman/Janitrol Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor). Simply unplug yours and plug this one in! Goodman is discontinuing B14010-18 ignitor ( pictured on the left ) and replacing it with a new style ignitor part # 0230K00001 ( pictured in the center and to the right ). The new ignitor comes with instructions mounting plate and wiring adapter. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
