Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM GE Genteq Carrier/Bryant/Payne Furnace X13 Blower Motor & Module combination. The Carrier/Bryant/Payne part # is HD42AQ235. It's 1/2 HP & 120/240 volt. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The motor has been redesigned as shown in the main picture and is the OEM upgraded version for the motor in the second photo. Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
