Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM GE Genteq Carrier/Bryant/Payne Furnace X13 BLOWER MOTOR. It's 3/4 HP 120/240 volt and ramps from 600 to 1200 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft extends 4" out of the motor and is 1/2" in diameter. The rotation is reversible. The box includes the motor module and wiring harness. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
