This is a BRAND NEW OEM Intertherm /Nordyne / Miller Mobile Home furnace Gas Valve. It's designed for HOT SURFACE IGNITION NOT STANDING PILOT or SPARK IGNITION furnaces! The Intertherm Part # is 903596. Flip a screw on the valve to convert it from NAT gas to LP gas.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
