Description
This is a BRAND NEW Intertherm/Nordyne/Miller 2-Speed Furnace Blower Motor. This Motor has the 3 mounting "ears" riveted onto it for mounting. It's 1/3 HP 208-240 volts 980 RPM. The Intertherm/Nordyne/Miller part number is 622212 (also 6222120) & the GE Genteq # is 5KCP39BGY659S. If the shaft is facing up (as seen in the picture) the motor rotates CLOCKWISE. The motor you are purchasing is brand new. When installing a new motor the motor manufactures highly recommend that you install a new capacitor at the same time. Old capacitors can become weak over time and have a negative effect on the new motor. We have the capacitor that goes with this motor in our store. You can locate it using part # CAP010753O.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
