This is a BRAND NEW Aftermarket Universal Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor) made in the USA. It comes with a couple of mounting brackets and instructions that allow this ignitor to replace Lennox/Armstrong/Ducane part #s 33J37 33J3701 and Raypak part # 600915 . Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
