Description
This is a BRAND NEW EconoMaster Universal 3-Speed Furnace Blower Motor. The EconoMaster part # is EM3589 & F48AD26A01. It is 3/4 HP 115 Volt and 1075 RPM. It replaces motors with between 2 and 5 speeds (your furnace will only use two speeds- one for heat and one of AC). The frame size is 48 (5 5/8" diameter) and the rotation is reversible. Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
