Description
This is a Brand New OEM Amrad Run Capacitor. It is rated at 45 + 7.5 uf/MFD and 370/440 Volt. It is an upgraded OEM replacement for part # RA2000-37-755-456. Amrad is one of the only USA made capacitors. Thanks for looking and good luck! This capacitor may or may not come with an additional Orange "CPT" terminal on top (as shown in photo #2). This Orange CPT terminal is only used if a Hard start device has been installed in your unit. If you receive the version with a new terminal and do not have a hardstart capacitor, you may disregard it.
Function:
A capacitor gives a motor a boost to get it up and running. Start capacitors help a motor/compressor get started, while run capacitors help a motor/compressor get started and run.
