This is a BRAND NEW OEM Aprilaire Air Cleaner Media Filter Kit. Aprilaire part # 1413 includes a Media Filter 413 and necessary mounting brackets to convert the filter. The Aprilaire 1413 Media Upgrade kit allows the Aprilaire / Spacegard Model 2400 Media Air Cleaner to be improved through the use of the new easier to install Aprilaire Model 413 Media Filter. In it's current form your Aprilaire Model 2400 Media Air Cleaner uses a 10 MERV Aprilaire Model 401 Media Filter which requires you to deal with the pleat finger like spacers each time you change the filter. After installing this Aprilaire 1413 Media Filter Upgrade Kit you can throw away your pleat spacers and use the new style 13 MERV Aprilaire 413 Media Filters which have self spacing pleats for a much easier install.
