OEM Carrier Bryant Payne Condenser Fan Motor 3/4 HP 460 volt Replaces HC45AE461
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Carrier/Bryant/Payne Condenser Fan Motor. It is rated at 3/4 HP, 460 volt and 1080 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft is 1/2" in diameter and extends 3.5" out of the motor. If the shaft is facing up, the motor rotates clockwise. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
