This is a BRAND NEW OEM Carrier/Bryant/Payne FAN MOTOR. It is rated at 1/5 HP, 460 volts and 825 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft is 1/2" in. If the shaft is facing up, the motor rotates counter-clockwise. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor.
