OEM Condenser Fan Motor 1/4 HP Replaces Replaces ICP Heil Tempstar 1186966
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded ICP Heil Tempstar Condenser Fan Motor. The motor is rated at 1/4 HP, 230 volt, and 1100 RPM. If the shaft is facing up (as seen in the photo), the rotation is counter-clockwise. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
