Description
This is a BRAND NEW Intertherm/Nordyne/Miller Air Conditioning Fan Motor. It's 1/5 HP 208-230 volts 1075 RPM. If the shaft is facing up rotation is Counter-Clock Wise! The Intertherm/Nordyen/Miller part number is 621918 (replaces old part # 621864) and the Zhongshan Broad-Ocean # is Y6S620C53 (replaces old GE 5KCP29FCA283AS). The motor has three wires and takes a 5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. Shaft extends 2 1/4" out of the motor & the motor is 5" Diameter- Frame 42Y- as opposed to most which are 5 5/8" diameter- Frame 48Y.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
