The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y).?á If the motor is sitting w/shaft up (as in the picture) rotation is clockwise.?á The shaft extends 3.5" out of the motor.?á?áThe motor has three wires.?á it repalces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor.
