Description
This is a Brand New OEM Lennox/Armstrong/Ducane Furnace Flame Sensor. Part # is 28G36 (also 28G3601 & PSE-LN1). This sensor has a 90 degree bend in it.
Function:
A flame sensor senses the furnace flame ensuring that ignition has occurred. It then monitors the flame until the furnace shut down. Should combustion be disrupted for any reason the sensor loses its signal and shuts the gas valve off.
