Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM Robertshaw Rheem/Ruud/Weather King/Corsaire furnace Standing Pilot Gas Valve. The Robertshaw Model # is 7000BER-S7B and the Rheem/Ruud Part # is 60-18556-86. It has a 1/2" inlet and 3/4" outlet with a reducer that reduces the outlet to 1/2" if desired. Valve is 4" Long and set up for NAT gas.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
