This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 4-5 Ton TXV Valve. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. The valve is designed for use with R-22 refrigerant. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
The thermostatic expansion valve controls one thing only: the rate of flow of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator. This is achieved by monitoring temperature and pressure in the refrigerant system.
