Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Furnace Gas Valve. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. It's designed for Hot Surface Ignition applications. This valve has an updated look when compared to older White Rodgers gas valves but is a direct replacement. It has an 1/2" inlet and a 1/2" outlet and is currently set up for NAT gas. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
