Description
This is a brand new Honeywell Furnace Gas Valve and has been designed as the OEM replacement for many older Rheem/Ruud/Weather King/Corsaire Gas Valve. The valve has a 1/2" inlet and outlet and is set up for natural gas, but comes with an LP kit in case needed.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
