Description

This is a BRAND NEW Trane/American Standard GE Genteq 2-Speed Furnace Blower Motor. It's 1/3 HP 200-230 volts and 1080 RPM. The GE part number is 5KCP39LGP545BS.The Trane Part # is MOT04102 (Also X70670961017). The shaft is 1/2 diameter and 2.5" long- if the shaft is facing up the motor spins Clock-Wise. This motor uses a 5 uf capacitor. Thanks for looking and good luck!
 
Function:

Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.

    Motor

    The motor works great with a couple of minor changes. Had to reverse the rotation of it which only took less than 30 seconds. Also had to move the mounting bushings to the other hole in the bracket. Again it was an easy issue to correct. My only real complaint is that it’s listed as a replacement for the Trane number i had but they fail to state on the website that it requires a different capacitor than the original motor. Had that been noted, i would have purchased the capacitor at the same time

    Great Motor, Some Installation Difficulties

    The motor was a perfect replacement for my P545BS, except that the spin direction needed to be reversed. This was not explained clearly in the instructions - you need to cross wire the orange & purple wired connections which loop back on themselves.
