Description
This is a BRAND NEW Ugraded White Rodgers Slow Opening Gas Valve. It works in both Hot Surface and Direct Spark applications. The valve is 4" long with a 3/4" in let and outlet, but comes with three reducers in case you need to reduce the inlet/outlet. Two reducers are 3/4" x 1/2" and the third reducer is 1/2" x 3/8". It also includes two (2x) 42" wire leads in case needed. The valve is set up for NAT gas and is not designed to work with LP gas. It is designed to replace the part numbers listed below.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
