This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Electric Furnace Heating Element Assembly. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. The element is rated at 4.8 KW / 240v. This assembly is a large curved element that goes inside a blower housing. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
A heating element converts electricity into heat through the process of resistive heating. Electric current passing through the element encounters resistance, resulting in heating of the element.
